The Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) programme is affiliated with the Maulana Abul Kalam Azad University of Technology (MAKAUT), a premier institution recognized for academic excellence and industry relevance & approved by AICTE.
Duration of BBA Programme
The BBA is a four-year full-time undergraduate programme. Classes are held from 10:30 AM to 5:30 PM, Monday to Friday. This distinctive schedule not only ensures comprehensive classroom engagement but also promotes meaningful interaction between students and industry professionals.Additionally, senior managers and industry experts are frequently invited during the final two sessions of the day to share practical insights and experiences.
Admission Procedure
Admission to the BBA programme is based on the candidate’s academic performance in Higher Secondary (HS), ISC, or CBSE examinations, along with a valid CET (Common Entrance Test) score. Applicants from other State Boards are also eligible to apply.
Examination & Promotion
Each semester concludes with a comprehensive examination in every subject. In addition to these final exams, students are continuously evaluated through cycle tests, assignments, and internal assessments conducted throughout the semester. These internal marks contribute to the final score in each subject.
Promotion to the next semester is based on overall academic performance. Students who fail in one or more subjects may reappear in subsequent examinations, in accordance with the university's regulations. All subjects must be successfully cleared by the end of the programme.
Grades are awarded as per the MAKAUT grading system.
Attendance
To be eligible to sit for the end-semester examination, a student must have attended at least 75% of the total lectures, tutorials, and seminars in each subject, unless special permission is granted by the appropriate authorities.
Medium of Instruction
The medium of instruction and examination for the BBA programme is English, ensuring alignment with global academic and professional standards.
