CMA ( DR.) JHARNA DUTTA

CMA. (DR.) Jharna Dutta is a Fellow Member of The Institute of Cost Accountants of India and a Post Graduate in Management with Specialisation in Finance. She was awarded Ph.D in Management from Vidyasagar University with dissertation in the area of Indirect Tax Litigation. She has around 22 years of work experience, which includes 10 years in industry, rendering Management Consultancy Services to Client organizations in the area of Accounts, Audit, Taxation etc and 12 years in academics, serving as Faculty of MBA, B. Tech & MCA (IGNOU) in Haldia Institute of Technology, Haldia. She has a number of Journal / Book Chapter publications to her credit, published in referred national and international journals / books and has attended and organized a number of national / international Seminars / Conferences including programs in collaboration with The Institute of Cost Accountants of India. She has also participated in various Workshops / FDPs. / MDPs as well. CMA.(DR.) Dutta’s recent area of teaching is Financial Management & Accounts, Corporate Taxation & Tax Planning, Derivatives & Risk Management. Her area of special interest is Corporate Taxation. Currently, she is also a member of The Indian Accounting Association.
