Biswarup Chatterjee is working at Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan Institute of Management Science, Kolkata for the last five years as Assistant Professor, Marketing Area. Previously he was associated with renowned colleges of Guru Govind Singh Indraprastha University, Delhi and Kurukshetra University, Haryana in the same capacity for five years. He also has 3 years of corporate experience in the Telecom Sales and Retail Operation domain at Reliance Retail and Reliance Communication. His qualification includes PGDM (Equivalent to MBA status by Association of Indian Universities, New Delhi) with a dual major in Marketing & Finance and he has submitted his doctoral thesis in marketing recently to the Institute of Management, Nirma University, Ahmedabad, a premier B-School with NAAC “A” and SAQS-AMDISA accreditation and NIRF ranked and one of the oldest B-School of India. He is also an Accredited Management Teacher awarded by the All India Management Association, Delhi. He has been armed with a couple of valuable certifications and training on the Teaching-learning process, pedagogical innovations, research methods and tools, virtual classroom management, Marketing research, social networking, capacity building for management teachers etc. from renowned institutions and bodies like IIM Bangalore, IIM Udaipur, IIT Roorkee, Delhi University, MHRD-Govt of India etc. He adds his profile with a C2 level proficiency in the English Language assessed by EF-SET, under Common European Framework of Reference for Languages. He is a keen enthusiast of Digital and new-age marketing practices and of Human Psychology. He has several indexed journal publications and international conference presentations to his credit, recently being one of them from Howard University, USA. His research area includes social media influencers, digital marketing, psychology and marketing intersection etc. He has been regularly invited for conducting MDP sessions on Marketing by the Dept. of MSME-Govt Of India (Empaneled) and several other reputed colleges.
